First, navigate to the virtual scope sheet of any claim. Click on the View tab in the upper left and in the drop down list ensure that both 'Store Items in User Order' and 'View Items in User Order' are both checked. If these boxes are already checked, move on to the next step. This first step will only ever need to be done once, and then later will remain checked.

After this has been done, when printing claims in the future, check the User Order checkbox in the print options section. Any estimate printed with this option checked will then be printed in the order that it was entered.
