If you're here, it's likely you have received the error:

"General Database Exception

Open Table Name: Repairs.db

Corrupt table / index header.

File:

C:\SIMSOL\DESKTOP\DATA\sfuser\XXXXX...\repairs.db"

This error can be corrected by running a few Simsol utilities. Below are the steps on how to run these utilities. If you would like to have a support agent walk through these steps with you, please give us a call at 1(800)447-4676 x500.

To begin, close out of Simsol and any Simsol Related Utilities (Claimswire, Warehouse, or other). Right click on your Simsol icon and select 'Open File Location'.

In the folder that appears, find and open the Delete Lock and Net Utility (Del_Lock_and_Net.exe).

Once this open, verify that the file path at the top is set to 'C:\' and then select 'Start'.

Files may appear in the center area, that is normal and means the utility is working properly. Once the 'Start' button turns back to say 'Start' select 'Close' to close the utility.
Next we'll want to run the DBCleanUp utility. To get to this, right click on your Simsol icon and select 'Open File Location'.

In the folder that appears, find and open DBCleanUp.exe.

In the window that appears, select 'OK'.

You'll then select the option 'Update All Data', then select 'Go'.

When this process is complete, the 'Updating System Files' window disappears and you'll see a 'Done' status in the bottom left-hand corner. Next, uncheck 'Update all Data', then check the two options for 'Validate Drawers and Claims' as well as the 'Arc and Restore Claims DB'. Select 'Go' again when your screen looks similar to the one below:

Once this is finished, you may close out of this utility and try to open Simsol. If you're still receiving an error message, please give our team a call to troubleshoot further.
