Adding Users to a Network Copy of Simsol


The system allows multiple log-in names to be added in addition to the default Manager log-in. To add users, follow the following steps.

  1. Log in as the Manager user.

  2. Select the Help main menu option located at the top of the screen (see next graphic).

  3. Select the Maintain User List option from the menu.

  4. Click Edit to add a password to a manager account.

  5. Click Add to display the Add a new user.

  6. Type in a user name and password. The user name and password are NOT case sensitive.

  7. The only Access Levels to be concerned with are 0 for a user (can only see claims written under their login) and 10 is a manager (can see all claims written by ANY user).

  8. Click OK to add the user with the defined name and password.

Note:  To log in as that user, simply type in the user's name and password in the log-in screen.
